The Fat Mans Monologue by Aliza Galkin-Smith {Book Review}

I consider this the perfect pool side read. It’s lighthearted and fun which keeps the readers attention. The book is so humorous, and jovial, which is how I picture the author, who wrote this in the first person.

This book is about embracing who you are, and enjoying life, which for him happens to involve food. We should all share his love for eating more often.
Breaking bread is often the most common thing people do when they gather together. It brings people together, and makes people feel good.
Aliza knows this better than anyone, and he shares his stories in this book. It’s more than just his love for food, he loves women too. There is a huge incorporation of history.
This man knows what he likes in life, and doesn’t let much get in his way. His book was fun to read, and I found it quite inspirational, which I wasn’t expecting when I started the book. Anyone can take something positive away from his experiences.
Absolutely a 5/5 in my opinion. I have so many people I am anxious to share this book with.
