Forbidden Fantasies: Lulu by Markus Fredricks {Book Review}

Review2A photographer, who’s lost interest in his own wife, suddenly finds himself fantasizing about his new fifteen year old neighbor. Despite the fact he has a daughter who is the same age, he cannot help but be aroused any time Lulu is near. He knows that a relationship with any fifteen year old, at his age, is taboo and punishable by prison. Will he be able to control himself, with her teasing him only fifty feet from his office window?

I found the dialogue in the story to be a bit unrealistic and forced. This book is definitely categorized as erotica, and most of the story stuck to graphic subject matter. This book is mainly talking about sexual desires that are considered wrong or taboo is some cases, so this book isn’t necessarily for anyone interested in erotica. It has a different sort of erotica feel while reading it. I thought it was going to be unnecessary taboo, but I ended up liking it enough to give it a 3/5.

Erotic Seduction by Moll Molone {Book Review}

Review2I found that the characters in this book lacked depth. Much of the interaction between characters did not add to the plot, and I found to be quite pointless. In fact, much of the story had nothing to do with the plot.

But you’re not reading this book for character depth and a twist in the plot. You’re reading it for the steamy sex scenes, which this book did not lack. The main theme is dominance and submission, but there plenty of other scenes without it.

Overall, I rate this at a 3/5.

Forged Through Glory by DeZré Storm {Book Review}

Review2

This book literally contains it all, science fiction, action, adventure, romance, and erotica. I have read my fair amount of books in each of these genres, but very rarely get to read them all together. It was quite interesting going from the action and adventure of a special operations unit of mainly men, to the erotica portion of the book when they gain a new member of the squad who happens to be female.

FTG is full of surprise, and imagination. It’s a fairly descent length book, but I read it much quicker than anticipated due to how great it flowed together. I imagine those who pick this book up for the adventure and action will be quite pleased with the erotica thrown in, and those who might pick this book up for the erotica, will be hooked to the science fiction plot as well!

I only wished that the characters themselves were described as well as everything else in the story. Regardless, the plot was creative and fun! Overall, I give this book a 4/5.

The Dom Around the Corner by Christine D’abo {Review}

Review2

Surprisingly, this BDSM novel has a gentle side to the plot. The connection between Simon and Gavin. It starts off innominate between them but slowly they begin to see each other for who they are in and outside of the club.

They each have baggage and insecurities that they deal with differently throughout the book, but together they work well together. Their characters are sweet, and flirtatious but also provocative, and enticing.

I normally don’t read this specific type of erotica, but I did find it risqué and seductive. The plot is simple and straight forward, with little to no twist or excitement, but the sex is abundant and kinky. It was a quick read that got straight to the point from the very beginning.

I think it needed a bit more plot to the story, it wouldn’t have needed much more to make this a read where you could get more attached to the characters. I give this book a 4/5.

Too Hot to Handle by Katie Rose {Review}

Review5The Boys of Summer Book 2

Jake is a cocky jock who knows he can get any girl he wants. The guys on the team are daring him to get the one girl they think he won’t be able land. Nikki Case is there to make sure the team doesn’t get in any trouble and ruin their reputation. If their reputation is ruined, it could affect the fans opinions of them, and at this point in the year, they need the support of their fans.

Nikki doesn’t take shit from any one and she certainly isn’t going to let a group of prankster jocks change how she does her job. She’s going to try even harder to not let the sexy playboy, Jake seduce her, despite the fact she hasn’t been with anyone in a long time.

Jake won’t turn off the charm on Nikki until he gets what he wants. Who’s going to win this game of seduction? Nikki, the headstrong and uncompromising woman who is determined to only do her job, or Jake, the ladies man who hasn’t been turned down, because he refuses to take no as an answer?

This book had a lot of substance that wasn’t revolved around erotica. I would categorize this book as a romance/erotica but it had enough romance and the love chase to not be overwhelmed with sex. Some books tend to not understand the balance between plot and sex scenes and they have too much of one. This one had a perfect balance, and I enjoyed reading Katie Rose’s writing style. I give this book 5/5.

Too Wilde to Tame by Janelle Denison {Review}

Review5

It’s no secret, Mia is a wild and crazy partier. Her reputation isn’t fabricated, because she will do about anything when she’s out at the bar, intoxicated or not. She knows Cameron doesn’t approve because he has a thing for her, but she flirts with danger by continuing her wild ways.

Despite her reputation, Cameron can’t shake his feelings for Mia. It only increases when Mia comes to Cameron for help when she becomes a victim of a very personal attack. Photos of Mia during her crazy partying are leaked to her, and she goes to Cameron, as he is a private investigator.

Is Cameron able to tame the wild girl and open her eyes to the damage she’s done to her reputation? I thought this book wasn’t half bad, it had a descent storyline and was easy to read in a sitting. I would rate it at a 4/5.

Call Me Cat by Karpove Kinrade {Review}

Review5Book #1 The Call Me Cat Trilogy

Catelyn is having trouble paying for Law School at Harvard. She feels her last resort is to take up an unconventional and very sexual, but legal, job. She’s a little uncomfortable at first, considering her past, when she witnessed her mother’s rape and murder, along with her father’s murder. It was brutal, and it prevents her from living a normal life. She especially can’t lead a normal life when the killer is after her once again. Who could it be? Will the police actually find him before he can find her?

This was a quick and fun read. Perfect for reading by the pool. It has plenty of scenes that keep things pretty steamy while also having some gory and thrilling parts that keep you turning page after page. I enjoyed reading this book and plan on getting the other books in the series. I give this book 5/5.

Forbidden Surrender by Pricilla West {Review}

Kristen’s job is on the line if she doesn’t get the account with Vincent Sorenson. It’s not looking very promising their first meeting. Her boss, Richard is determined to make this Kristen’s account and give her the raise she deserves. He believes the meeting with Vincent went especially well, assuming her flirtation was intentional.

Things are looking especially promising considering the flirtation she is getting back from him at the bar later that night. He seems determined to not only close the deal with Kristen, but also close a deal with Kristen personally. He’s persistent, he’s attractive, and he won’t take no for an answer.

This is a quick and steamy novella that will get anyone’s blood boiling to a whole new level of hotness!

Erotica Shorts by Adrian Wells {Review}

Four short books full of erotica and romance. Some are unconventional and steamy, while others have more of a romantic side to them. No matter what type of romance/erotica you enjoy, this set will have something for you.

Adrian Wells can definitely think outside of the box, and give you quite a mental picture with her creative use of words. Considering some of the scenes in this set, I wasn’t surprised to find that Adrian Wells is a man. I give this series of books a 5/5.

While She Sleeps:
Chelsea moves into an apartment with James since she’s strapped for cash. James is so kind to loan her money for rent, and even gas in her car. Chelsea is filled with guilt over the loaned money, so James comes up with a very creative way to repay him.

Unfaithfully Yours:
Robyn catches Thomas with the babysitters lipstick on him. Tracy, the babysitter is only seventeen! Her youth and beauty was something he couldn’t avoid. It didn’t help that Tracy seemed to feel something for him as well. Robyn will just have to figure out a way to punish Thomas for his very bad behavior.

Craving For His Touch:
Ciara finds herself in a situation where she must be obedient and listen to the demands of a man who plans on doing things she’s only imagined. The control he has over her make her feel both fear and excitement. The sad thing is, she doesn’t even know if she will ever see him again.

Into the Night:
He has waited in the nightclub for her to arrive for two days now. It’s not for lack of company, because he has plenty of woman who would line up just to sit next to him, and be seen with him. Finally his wait has paid off, because she walks in the nightclub and every guy in the club notices her. No one is allowed to have her, except him.

New Girl by Harper Bliss {Review}

Liz is tempted by the new girl on the soccer team, Nina. Things only get worse when they find themselves sharing a hotel room on a team trip. They figure out that they have mutual feelings for one another pretty quickly.
This is a quick read, that’s very passionate and to the point. Nothing makes this book stand out, it’s neither bad or good. I’d give it 3/5.

Pleasure Extraordinaire by Liv Bennett {Review}

Book One

Michael Hawkins wants Miss Doheny to fulfill a very specific job position for him. Her resume can get her any job she wants, so she’s not obligated to take the job if she truly doesn’t want it. Something tells her, this is the job for her, and she gladly obliges.

Just wait and see what she is required to do in order to execute the contract she signed. It will please more than just Mr. Hawkins.

This is a quick read at almost two hundred pages. It is intriguing and complex enough to keep you reading. The situations Lindsay Doheny finds herself in are purely fictional, but they make for a great book. 5/5.

Tempted by Two by Portia Da Costa {Review}

Warning this review contains sexual explicit material

Katie has been an admirer of Marcus Dane’s work for a long time, ever since she’d been searching for a wedding gift for a friend, and happened upon print of one of his works. He was gorgeous, and very talented. His work made her blush, but in a very good way.

While out at one of his art shows, she runs into Marcus Dane himself, and gets to know him and what inspires his works of art, especially his newest piece, Tempted by Two, which is a painting of two men and a woman in apparent sexual chemistry.

It wasn’t until Marcus extended an invitation to take her back home, did she start fantasizing about being in a rendezvous with two other men. Now that she has the opportunity, will she run for the hills, or embrace her sexuality and live life to the fullest?

Marcus and Owen are a bi couple who can appreciate the male and female figure for the sexual beings that they are. They open up their hearts and their bed to Katie, inviting her in with welcome arms.
Katie eventually lets of go of her inhibitions and goes where her fantasies take her, with Marcus and Owen together.
This is tantalizing tale of a girl going beyond her comfort zone and finding herself out in a threesome with two other men. This book goes into great sexual detail of all the fun they have together, and is not meant for any squeamish, prude minds. It’s safe to say, you must keep an open mind while reading this book, and use your imagination to appreciate the creativity Portia Da Costa has written. i would rate this book 5/5 for an amazing sexual experience.
